Le Clerk requests remedy as by force of their office Deyn and Hobel abducted his wife and took his goods [listed] on Wednesday in the vigil of the feast of St Denis in the twentieth year of Edw. II between curfew and midnight from the house of William Bleithe in Dryslwyn and took her to Carmarthen Castle and detained her for nine weeks, and then took her to the land of Kidwelly and detained her to his great loss.
