Nature of request
Bertrem requests law and justice be done to him as he has shown the queen's council his right to the manor of Burton Leonard and requested restitution, but has been delayed for three years. He was seised of the manor by the deeds of Bekard but Hastings took seisin because of the minority of Manduit, Bekard's kinsman and heir.
Nature of endorsement
Let the petition be ordered into Chancery, and there let the queen's council be called, and let the reasons of the parties be heard and justice done.
