[Petition in 7 parts].1) The dean and chapter request that Messanger be summoned and be compelled to pay the rent and arrears that he owes for a messuage in Salisbury, he having withheld it for the last 20 years; and they request that they have remedy and title to demand recovery from their tenants in future.2) [Identical request concerning the rent and arrears owed by Okeburn, he having withdrawn it 13 years previously].3) [Identical request concerning the rent and arrears owed by Camell, he having withdrawn it 8 years previously].4) [Identical request concerning the rent and arrears withdrawn by a tenant, but damage obscures the full details].5) [Identical request concerning the rent and arrears owed by Lord, he having withdrawn it 17 years previously].6) [Identical request concerning the rent and arrears owed by Hobbes, he having withdrawn it 17 years previously].7) [Identical request concerning the rent and arrears owed by Fyvean, he having withdrawn it 13 years previously].

The petition is speculatively dated to c. 1421 on the basis of the dating given on the dorse to 9 Henry V. Although this is in a later hand, the hand of the petition does fit a petition of around that date.
