Nature of request
Everyngham requests that he be satisfied for the tithes that have been detained by the keeper of the manor of Temple Hirst, and that any keeper while the manor is in the king's hand be commanded to serve Everyngham of the tithes. Everyngham has taken the garbe tithes and other things within his parish but since the death of the earl of Lancaster when the manor came into the king's hand the tithes have been withheld by the keeper.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered by writ to the keeper that he suffer him to have the tithes according to the law of Holy Church, and if there is a reason by which he ought not to have the tithes then he is to certify the king in Chancery of it.
