Tenants of the manor of Stoneleigh, and all the free tenants of Kenilworth and Ashow.

Nature of request
The tenants request remedy and restoration of their common rights of pasture in the frith of Kenilworth where they were accustomed to pasture their animals without rendering anything except tithes as the late earl of Lancaster has enclosed 800 acres of it as his severalty.

Note
The petition dates to c. 1325 as it is clearly after the fall of Thomas of Lancaster, and is probably contemporary with complaints of the prior and convent of Kenilworth over communing in the same place (CCW 1244-1326, p.565).
