The people request remedy as they and their ancestors were accustomed to render a farm for their vill to the escheator, and the escheator came to collect the farm, and if distress needed to be made it ought to have been done at the house of the king's provost, but the escheator has come and has made distress on them to carry the farm where he pleases.
