- The abbot requests that he and his successors be discharged of coming to parliament as none but his immediate predecessor have been summoned, and no abbot of his order is summoned. He also requests that he be discharged of paying the ninth on wool and other charges which he is charged because he is summoned to parliament since he was not present at the parliament when the grant was made, and has paid his tenths when others of his condition have.
