Nature of request
Halstede requests the king's grace as her father-in-law let at farm land in Thorpe Langton to Peveril for 12 years, and after the expiry of the term her husband entered it and was seised of it until the bishop of Chester entered it wrongfully because her husband did not wish to sell the land to him. The land is now in the king's hand, and her husband is dead and she and her children are impoverished.
