Description

Petition for assistance from Mrs H E Goodridge, whose son, Hugh Beresford Goodridge, a stoker on HMS Monmouth died when the ship was sunk in the battle off Coronel, and whose husband suffered a stroke on hearing of the death. With letter from the accountant general of the Navy stating that the matter has been referred to the Ministry of Pensions. No. 219, folios 241-246
