Description

Detention of habitual criminals: forwards details of the only prisoner sentenced under the Habitual Criminals (Detention) Act 1911 and states that this sentence of detention will not come into operation until April 1920 and consequently no report on the working of the Act can be made until 1921. The prisoner is named as Joseph Durant, aged 73. No. 208, folios 219-221
