Pages 385-386. H Hobhouse to Major General Sir John Bing, Pontefract. Hobhouse congratulates Byng on the way he has accelerated the march of a troop of the 15th Hussars, requested by the Magistrates. He adds that he may always use his discretion in this way. and Sidmouth does not object to Byng's proposed leave. He encloses a letter from W Norris.
