Pages 381-382. H Hobhouse to T S Withington, Manchester. Hobhouse encloses £292 14s to cover expences detailed in his letter of 10 May, and a donation of £50 to No. 1. He asks for a receipt. He is pleased to learn of the effects the convictions of Bagguley and his associates have had, and mentions Sidmouth's application to the Master of the House regarding King's Plate, although his Lordship's accident has delayed Sidmouth's pursuing it.
