Pages 369-370. H Hobhouse to Major General Sir John Byng. Hobhouse encloses a copy of a letter from an Irish informant in Dublin. Sidmouth considers it important that Byng has sight of it. The substance of it shall also be sent to Mr Norris, the Police Magistrate at Manchester, but the source will not be revealed to him.
