Description

Page 363. H Hobhouse to J Lloyd, Stockport. Hobhouse states that Manchester Magistrates are aware of what is happening. He asks Lloyd for information on who ordered the pike [weapon], and for intelligence from Thomas Hale's friend, and also from William Gordon. Byng will strengthen his force in time for the Assizes.
