Marsa Scirocco (now Marsaxlokk). (2) Part of an Admiralty chart with coloured, MS additions showing a proposed torpedo range at Cala Frana and waters proposed to be transferred to the Admiralty. (3) Plan of land on the foreshore at Marsa Scirocco proposed to be purchased by the Admiralty. A public road and the ruin of the Old Redoubt are also shown. Reference table to landowners. Compass indicator. Scales: (2) 1:18293; (3) 1:500. Stamped by the Superintending Civil Engineer, 2 November 1900. Originally enclosed in a letter dated 8 December 1900 from B Watson, Admiral Superintendent. Dimensions of sheets: (2) 21 cm x 33 cm; (3) 46.5 cm x 65 cm.
