Egypt. 'The Southern Part of the Levant. The Soundings east of Alexandria are reduced from Captn. Mansell's Survey of 1856': map showing soundings from Alexandria (El Iskandariya) eastward to El 'Arish. Scale: 1 inch to 9.5 miles. Compass indicator. Originally accompanying an opinion by Captain T Spratt, HMS Medina, on the Suez Canal project, submitted to the Hydrographer of the Navy 30 January 1858.
