Map of the Kiliya branch, showing the advance of shallow banks since the Russian survey of 1830, the increase of dry land, the Russian six-feet line and five-fathom line in 1830, the six-feet line and five-fathom line from a survey by HMS Medina 1856 and the encroachment of the sea on shallow banks since the closure of the Soodinovo mouth. Reference table. Signed by Captain T Spratt, HMS Medina and originally accompanying his opinion on the Suez Canal project, submitted to the Hydrographer of the Navy 30 January 1858.
