'Lake Baringo and its rivers': map covering territory (now in Rift Valley province, Kenya) as far south-west as the Eldama Ravine, showing contour lines, the distribution of native peoples and the route taken by Major Gorges. Signed: Major E H Gorges, Uganda Rifles, 15 September 1901. Originally illustrating a report by Major Gorges on a journey to Lake Baringo; this report is Appendix B to Uganda Protectorate Intelligence Report number 5. A list of additions and alterations made to the map remains at the parent reference.
