'Sketch map of the Kisumu district showing sub-divisions of the Wa-Kavirondo': covering the area (now chiefly in Nyanza Province, Kenya) between Mumias, in the north, and the boundary with German East Africa (territory now in Tanzania), in the south, showing rivers and lakes, and the distribution of native peoples. Reference table to caravan routes, telegraph lines and the partly-built Uganda Railway. Signed: Major E H Gorges, Uganda Rifles, 20 August 1901. Originally illustrating Appendix B to Uganda Protectorate Intelligence Report number 4.
