Compass indicator. Originally illustrating a report by Captain W E Rumbold, Uganda Rifles, Commanding Special Commissioner's Escort on his journey to Mount Elgon, 28 April 1901; this report is Appendix B to Uganda Protectorate Intelligence Report number 3.
