South-West Asia and South-East Europe: Balkans, Caucasus and Middle East. 3 sheets only of a map on multiple sheets, showing relief, rivers, towns, roads and railways. (1) 'Anatolia' and 'Eastern Turkey in Asia': 2 sheets joined to form a map of the area between 24° and 48°E and between 36° and 44°N. (2) 'Syria and Mesopotamia': a single sheet covering the area between 33°30' and 48°E and between 28° and 36°N. Sides not parallel because of the projection. Printed by the War Office, August - November 1919. Overprinting, coloured, to both items, showing Allied and Turkish military dispositions on 17 January 1920; overprinted reference table. Dimensions: (1) 155 cm x 73 cm; (2) 75 cm x 102 cm.
