British Guiana (now Guyana), Dutch Guiana (now Suriname), Venezuela. 'Rios Essequebe [i.e. Essequibo] et Demerary [i.e. Demerara]': map of the area between the Orinoco and the Maroni Rivers. Compass star; south-west at the top. Traced from a map by Storm [van's Gravesande], [1750], number 1496 in the Rijks Archief, The Hague; traced by J A Swettenham, 15 July 1887; this version lithographed by Dangerfield, Covent Garden, July 1888.
