Straits Settlements: Malacca (now Melaka, Malaysia). 8 sheets of plans and elevations relating to a new high school. (4) Sheet bearing plans of the ground and upper floors of the school building, with a front elevation and a cross-section. (5) Plan of the school site, also showing streets, the central police station and a cricket ground. (6) Sheet bearing a plan and section of the latrines. (7) Sheet bearing a plan and section of the caretaker's rooms. (8) Sheet bearing plans of the ground and upper floors of the old high school, to be converted to accommodate government officials, showing the changes to be made to the building. (9) Sheet bearing plans of the ground and upper floors of the [new] headmaster's quarters, with an elevation and section. (10-11) 2 sheets of plans of buildings to be converted into accommodation for assistant schoolmasters. Scale: (4, 9-11) 1 inch to 8 feet [1:96]; (5) 1 inch to 100 feet [1:1,200]; (6-7) 1 inch to 4 feet [1:48]; (8) 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. Compass indicator to item 5. All items signed: Captain H E McCallum, Royal Engineers; items 5 and 7-11 also signed: F C Sheppard, Superintendent of Works and Surveys.
