Norway. 5 maps illustrating Operation Source (the attack on the Tirpitz): (10) track chart of British submarines, towing their respective X-craft, from north Scotland ('Port HH2') to Kafjord; (11) track chart of submarines and X-craft off the north cast of Norway 15-18 September 1943; (12) 'Approach, Landfall and Slipping' 17-21 September 1943; (13) track chart of X 10 20-27 September 1943; (14) 'Recovery and Withdrawal' 27-29 September 1943. Scales: (10) 1:3,000,000; (11) 1:1,000,000; (12)-(14) 1:211,070. Compass roses. Sheet sizes between 50 cm x 44 cm and 93 cm x 100 cm. Signed by Cdr G P S Davies RN. Originally illustrating a report dated 8 November 1943.
