John Clevland. The Respect was sent with stores to Halifax and more are on the Elizabeth which waits at Spithead for convoy. Have sent directions to the Naval Officer at Halifax to follow orders from Admiral Boscawen relating to the careening wharf. John Charlton, lately appointed Master House Carpenter at Halifax, is on board the Elizabeth with careening capstans and other materials for the wharf. The ship Reynolds which sailed last October with stores arrived at Halifax on 3rd April
