Copy report from George Johnson, Master of the Annandale Transport to the Board. He sailed from Lisbon under convoy of the Mercury, Captain Afflick for 70 leagues westward of the rock. The ship sprung a leak 75 leagues from the Capes of Virginia when we were forced to throw 10 guns overboard, two anchors, a cable, spare topmasts, spare yards and more. We went to Antigua where we defended ourselves against three privateer sloops. Has applied to the General and the Commodore for relief.
