Description

John Clevland. Receipt of letter from Commodore Durell at New York, informing us that Major General Abercromby, Commander in Chief of HM land forces in North America, has directions from Secretary Pitt, to take up ships to serve as transports for the embarkations at Boston, New York and Philadelphia. Ask if we should pay bills drawn for the hire of them
