Description

Thomas Corbett. Lieutenant Leaver was lent from the Rupert, Captain Ambrose, to command the Biscaia privateer in May 1741 and was subsequentluy appointed by commission to the Saphire in October 1741. From May to October he claims he remained on the books of the Rupert and asks for arrears of pay. Lieutenant Charles Warriner held the post of 3rd Lieutenant from September and from the day of Leaver's appointement to the Saphire, Lieutenant Thomas Hankerson was 3rd Lieutenant, the position he still holds. The Board make no recommendation
