Imperial Institute Committee of Enquiry, 1923: appointment of Imperial Institute Committee to consider functions and future of the Institute following withdrawal of overseas contributions and consequent financial difficulties; membership and terms of reference; financial reports regarding Institute, and other background reports and memoranda; appointment of official reporters and shorthand writers; reports of 1st meeting, 8 February 1923, and 2nd meeting, 19 February 1923; correspondence and memoranda regarding the Imperial Bureaux of Mycology and Entomology. Includes printed enclosures: paper entitled Instructions for the Guidance of Secretaries of Temporary Commissions and Committees, Treasury Chambers, May 1922; copy of Report of the Proceedings of the Executive Council of the Imperial Institute at a meeting at the Colonial Office on Tuesday, 9th January, 1923.
