Cicely Newport v John Newport alias Thomas, the plaintiff's husband: desertion of the plaintiff by the defendant for 17 years with £150 her marriage portion, defendant changed his name and became a clerk in the customs at Fowey, Cornwall; defendant denies the marriage and everything, and the plaintiff in her replication (contrary to the statement in her bill) says she was married at St Giles without Cripplegate, London, in the name of Thomas. 3 mm.
