Description

Acknowledges receipt of circular reporting the mutiny which went on for a short time on one of King's ships was at an end; reports he has laid before the Council and Assembly, the resolution of the House of Commons, of 6 April 1797, regarding enslaved persons of African descent on plantations in the British West Indies; transmits copies of his message to the Legislature and their joint resolutions; reports a bill is under consideration by the House of Assembly with a view of attaining objectives in the resolution of the House of Commons.
