Description

Draft; discussion on the individuals tried and given respite, reports it is the King's pleasure that they should be dealt with in the manner, and with the precautions set forth in the Secretary of State's letter to Houstoun of the 25th 'ultimo'; states 'the Laws for the punishment of offenders in Great Britain and Ireland apply only to Persons tried within those Kingdoms, and cannot therefore extend to the Rebels in question, included in the Act of Attainder passed by the Island of Grenada'; refers to confiscation act and confiscated estates; refers to Prisoners of War; refers to estimates and expenses.
