Holdernesse to Clavering, acknowledging receipt of letters from the duke of Brunswick etc. He would do well to encourage the correspondent who wrote him the letter [SP 87/39/56], relating to the young pretender contained in his of 24 October [SP 87/39/55], as some of its information has been confirmed.
