Pages 167-168. H Hobhouse to William Bedford, Birches Green, Birmingham. Sidmouth offers his assistance in the Magistrates' prosecution of Russell. The Solicitor of the Treasury, Mr Maule, has been asked to send Bedford a draft of the proper indictment, and to point out the evidence that will be required in addition to the proof of the publication by Russell. Mr Maule will be present at the Warwick Assizes and will be free to offer any advice on the case deemed necessary.
