Clavering to Holdernesse: the landgrave has decided to go to Lüneburg when it is no longer safe for him in Hesse, and has obtained permission from the regency of Hanover to move his guards there. General Lückner's attempt on the bakery at Marburg did not succeed. It is reported that St Germain has resigned and that de Broglie has given his command to de Muy. Dated at Rinteln. ff. 36, 37
