Clavering to Holdernesse, mostly in cipher: the landgrave's fears that he will be of no consequence after a peace. Mr. Assenbourg's influence on him. Donop wishes the affair of Hanau might be settled. If forced to leave Cassel, the landgrave talks of going to Hamburg. Advance of 2,000 French cavalry to Bergheim. Dated at 'Pirmont'. ff. 17-20
