Description

To Cumberland from Harrington: Ingoldsby's suspension. Release of Belle-Isle. Arrangements for the march of the Hessians. Arrangements should it be necessary to send troops to England. Sailing of the young pretender from Brittany to Scotland. The grand duke of Tuscany advises that the French have sent a large force from Flanders to Conti. Conflicting report that the French have determined to besiege Ostend. The king's displeasure at the cessation of works there. Dated at Hanover. ff. 315-322
