Saxe to Cumberland: reasons for ill-treatment of the allied prisoners at Brussels and the remedies he will apply. The king of Great Britain has violated the cartel of Frankfurt of 1743 by detaining Belle-Isle. He cannot yet supply Cumberland with a list of prisoners, but invites him to send a commissioner, and encloses a passport for that purpose. Dated at camp before Tournai. ff. 51, 52
