Cumberland to Harrington, enclosing an account [SP 87/17/21] of the battle of the 11th [Fontenoy], a return of the losses suffered by the right wing [SP 87/17/22], and a copy of his letter to Saxe [SP 87/17/23] complaining at the treatment of prisoners in Brussels and environs. Request for appointments for Lord John Murray and Sir Robert Monroe. The need for replacements for men lost in the battle. Dutch reactions to the battle. He encloses a copy of Saxe's response to his complaints [SP 87/17/24], and the proceedings of the court martial of Captain Watts [SP 87/17/26]. Dated at camp at Ath, and continuation at camp at Lessines. ff. 38, 39
