Objections to entrenchment as 'dishonourable'. He disregarded the king's orders to re-cross the Main because of the imminence of attack by Nouailles. Deployment of the troops beyond the Main. He has now re-crossed the Main. Shortage of fodder. Dated at Höchst. PS. on his satisfaction with the Hanoverian troops and the general officers. ff. 102-106
