Stair to Carteret: the French are more concerned with Bavaria than with attacking him, and his army is numerically superior. He encloses a list of French troops marching to Bavaria [SP 87/12/45] and a memorial from Arenberg [SP 87/12/46]. The emperor has decided to have no more to do with France. Dated at Höchst. PS. that the last of the Hanoverian cavalry has arrived. ff. 95, 96
