Stair's memorial: the French intend to use the Neckar to communicate with their army in Bavaria. Dispositions of British, Hanoverian, Hessian and Austrian troops. Materials to bridge the Main are ready at Frankfurt. The circles of Franconia and Swabia may be induced to measures that will end the war in Bavaria. The elector of Trier has agreed to a train of artillery passing through or remaining at Coblenz. Shortage of colonels and absence of an adjutant-general. ff. 50-53
