Stair to Carteret, enclosing a letter from [Robert] Trevor at The Hague [SP 87/11/68]. Following the machinations of Podewils, Stair and Arenberg have resolved to march the vanguard to Mainz. He encloses two of their resolutions [SP 87/11/69, 70]. Friendship of the king of Prussia and the emperor. He encloses a breakdown of the dragoons and infantry [SP 87/11/71]. Dated at Aix-la-Chapelle. PS that the elector of Mainz has died. He encloses a former letter of his to [Robert] Trevor [SP 87/11/72] and a map of the intended march to Mainz [SP 87/11/73]. ff. 141-143
