Stair to Carteret, enclosing a memorial [SP 87/11/50]. He will continue, together with the Austrians, towards the Rhine, where he expects no resistance from the local princes. Speculation on the actions of the king of Prussia and the French. He encloses an extract of his letter to the duke of Arenberg, a copy of Arenberg's reply [SP 87/11/51], a letter from the bishop of Liège [SP 87/11/52], and a requisitorial letter to the regency of Jülich and Berg concerning Düsseldorf [SP 87/11/53]. Dated at Aix-la-Chapelle. PS. that he encloses copies of his friendly correspondence with the elector of Cologne [SP 87/11/55, 56]. ff. 91-94
