Dupontpietin to Stair: he appends a report from an officer sent to Düsseldorf. His troops will march for Jülich the next day. Dated at Lier. Report of Captain Lieutenant von Bodenhousen: the stadholder and Count von Schausberg presents his compliments to Lieutenant General von Sommerfeldt and is mortified that the requisitorial letters have not been sent. The regency has sent a courier to Mannheim [to the elector Palatine] and will order the inhabitants to provide all necessaries. Forage can be provided, but only for a short time. f. 46
