Extract from a letter from Count Harrach: Stair's refusal to march into Germany is based on his fears for the cavalry's subsistence. He has advised Arenberg to write to the electors etc. through whose territories the troops will pass to ask them to provide food and forage. This would silence Stair. The difficulty of financing the forces in the low countries. Dated at Brussels. ff. 219, 220
