Stair to Carteret: he awaits with impatience the king's orders for winter quarters, on account of the shortage of fodder. He encloses a list [SP 87/10/83] of the Hanoverians' destinations. [General] Ilten, the bearer, will explain them. They will be well placed [next campaign] to clear the Rhine up to Coblenz. He encloses a line of battle [SP 87/10/84] for the king's troops, and will shortly send another including the Austrians. Dated at Brussels. ff. 168, 169
