Stair to Carteret: meetings with Harrach, Arenberg, Neipperg, Prince George of Hesse and Prince Frederick. Arenberg and Neipperg pressed for the Hanoverians and Hessians to join an Austrian force to winter on the Rhine near Coblenz, and the British to join them.
