Stair to Carteret: the only difficulties the king will meet when he arrives to lead the army will be the season and the state of the roads. He and Arenberg wish to join the army once the Hanoverians and Hessians have arrived. The French have entered Bohemia, but he does not see how they can leave it, short of capitulation. He has written a letter to Arenberg [SP 87/10/56], and added an alternative to the plan [SP 87/10/57]. Alarm of Dutch ministers at 'xx reports'. Dated at The Hague. PS. that he encloses a copy of his memorial to the secretary of war [SP 87/10/58]. ff. 116-119
