It remains to be seen whether the prince of Orange will agree to serve in the rank offered him. The admiralty of the Maas has had to recognize the validity of the privateer's commission. He encloses remarks [SP 87/10/39] by a member of the assembly of Holland on a memorial by Fenélon. Dated at The Hague. ff. 80, 81
